Founded in 1987, SALIGAN is a legal resource non-governmental organization doing developmental legal work with women, farmers, workers, the urban poor, the indigenous peoples and local communities. It has more than one hundred (100) partner-organizations all over the country.
BALAOD Mindanaw works with marginalized sectors and communities in Mindanaw through alternative lawyering and paralegalism, stressing active non-violence as an integral part thereof in the advancement of justice, gender equality, and resource tenure improvement in the context of active people's participation in Governance.
Committee on Human Rights monitors developments regarding the human rights in Turkey and the world. It harmonizes the implementations with the relevant regulations. It also investigates the individual applications regarding the violation of human rights.
Promotes gender equality and works to end gender based violence through social and economic programming.
Provides training of law clerks through seminars and practical training courses as well as continuing and specialized training of magistrates.
It advances civil justice reform through research and advocacy. It also strives to make the civil justice system more accessible, effective, and sustainable. Its projects include Cost of Justice and the Action Committee on Access to Justice in Civil and Family Matters.
