CIJ promotes ethical, fact-based journalism and independent media in Hungary. They advocate for dialogue between media professionals and policy makers to promote a legal framework respectful of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
It promotes and facilitates disability inclusive development, economic empowerment, and the improvement of healthcare and educational services. It fosters the inclusion of disability issues and persons with disabilities in mainstream government and non-governmental service delivery and development programs.
It is a coalition of over 30 Kenyan and East African legal, human rights, and governance organizations. KPTJ is currently active in the monitoring, implementation, and enforcement of the mediation agreement.
Founded in 1985, it works to improve access to essential health information, services, and products. Their areas of intervention are access to safe water systems, family planning and reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS and malaria treatment and prevention.
Officially registered in 2016 with the assistance of the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI), it is the first national professional organization of lawyers in the country. Its mission is to build the capacity of the legal profession and to promote and protect the rights of the people in Myanmar.
It is comprised by a group of bloggers and social media activists that build capacity among members, promote citizen journalism, and educate the public through the platform. They have developed projects such as Ghana Decides to promote electoral accountability, and Inform Ghana to foster information sharing between citizens.
