Founded in 1995, to educate young people in the responsible, creative, and safe use of media, it also stimulates them to take an active role in public life and to promote human rights. They conduct workshops for students as well for groups with limited access to cultural goods, such as prisoners.
It is comprised of nine international organizations that have worked with displaced and conflict-affected people since 1984. It provides support to approximately 92,000 Burmese refugees located in nine camps in western Thailand. It also supports recovery and community-driven development in southeast Myanmar.
It advocates for girls educational rights in Tanzania. It seeks to ensure that this inherent right is given to all human beings without due regard to gender, discrimination, economic conditions, cultural, social, and political justification.
Works to reflect and analyse the role of CSOs in society, and to monitor government action while pushing for a more vibrant civil society.
Raising awareness on the nature of violence against women and the ways to decrease it.
Investigates and monitors other sectors of government including the Ministry of Justice and scrutinizes actions of other agencies to make policy reccomendations to the House
