Human Rights Council Ethiopia

Founded in 1991, HRCO is an independent organization that works towards building a democratic system though the promotion of the rule of law and due process, and encouraging and conducting human rights monitoring.

Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Associations - CCRDA

It is an association of NGO's and CSO's that serves as a forum for collective action and promotes the growth of civil society by supporting member organizations in capacity building and strengthening their collective voice. It was the first legally registered association of NGOs/CSOs in Ethiopia and has operated since 1973.

Ethiopia Social Accountability Program Phase II

It is an initiative to strengthen the use of social accountability tools, approaches, and mechanisms by citizens, civil society organizations, local government officials, and service providers. It is financed through a World Bank multi-donor trust fund.

Ethio Trial Tracker

It documents and provides information to the public concerning court cases of people accused of terrorism. It denounces arbitrary detention of dissenters by the government and monitors the appropriate use of the Anti-Terrorism Proclamation of 2009.

Abyssinia Law

It is an online free-access resource for Ethiopian legal information such as Supreme Court decisions, policy documents, and research documents, among others. The initiative was founded by the Liku Worku Law Office and is a member of the World Free Access to Legal Movement.
