Founded in 2011 and formerly known as the Anti-Corruption Network, ACT is an initiative from the private sector that comprises nearly 50 organizations from the private, public, and civil society sectors, and serves as a social force to mobilize Thai people and society in rejecting corruption. It supports policy reform in order to make anticorruption measures become tangible and effective.
It is an international initiative that demands financial institutional accountability by exposing their ties with companies involved in human rights violations and environmental destruction. It also creates competition among institutions by publishing their investment and loan policies to the public.
