Works to provide free legal assistance to persons in civil and criminal procedures through a hotline or in person, and to work to defend the human rights of all persons in Russia.
Founded in 1992, it promotes the awareness of victims of human rights abuses. They utilize empirical cases of international humanitarian law, international refugee law, and the guiding principles on internal displacement. The organization strives for the democratic construction of peace, justice, and social equity, as an effective way to prevent exile and displacement. In 2010, the Ecuadorian chapter of the organization opened in Quito.
