The Danish Institute for Human Rights has been engaged in Nepal since 1996 through various projects. During this period the institute and its partners have achieved results in relation to juvenile justice reform, prisoners legal aid, the development of the first strategic plan for the Supreme Court, as well as the establishment of the National Human Rights Commission.
The Centre's mission is to provide public services and advance research in the interdisciplinary area of information technology and law. Their initiatives include the Community Legal Information Centres (Youth CLIC, Senior CLIC, Family CLIC), the eQuality Project, and the Hong Kong Legal Information Institute - HKLII, among others.
