Political Prisoners in Thailand advocates for those who are charged with political crimes by raising awareness about the use of Thailand’s lèse majesté law, the Computer Crimes Act, and the sedition law. Using an independent website, PPT keeps track of the pending and acquitted cases, as well as convitions under these charges.
Works to promote good governance, and prevent conflicts in all of West Africa. Based in Senegal, they train and educate citizens to monitor the electoral process and find solutions to prevent or end conflicts.
It is comprised by a group of bloggers and social media activists that build capacity among members, promote citizen journalism, and educate the public through the platform.
