It was founded in 1995, and works to promote and advance womens human rights striving to create a society free from all forms of violence against women. Their mission is to build social movements opposed to, and committed to eradicating violence against women.
It works to protect human rights and promotes justice and the rule of law. They offer free legal services for women victims of sexual based violence, children, and disadvantaged people. They also provide capacity building for lawyers and paralegals through trainings, seminars, and internships.
