EITI is a coalition composed of government agencies, extractive companies, and civil society organizations that promotes transparency and accountability in the extractive sector. It fosters open information and accountable management of oil, gas, and mineral resources.
Promotes gender equality and the rights of the child through advocacy for greater respect and implementation of these rights in law and practice.
Founded in 1959, it provides co-operation, dialogue and understanding with the Government by representing the views and concerns of its members. It promotes trade and investment, upholds standards, encourages the formulation, enactment, and administration of policies for a competitive and sustainable local manufacturing sector.

It promotes the rights of migrants, refugees, women, and children, and protects them from exploitation, abuse, discrimination, slavery, and human trafficking. It also advocates for anti-discrimination policies.
