Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association

Founded in 1996, it promotes and protects the economical, social, and legal rights of women in Ethiopia. They provide free legal aid services, public education, capacity building, research, and law reform advocacy. EWLA runs 60 legal aid centers to assure that the service is accessible to women at the grass root level.
