Karama works with women, men, and youth academics, activists, community leaders, politicians, parliamentarians, and others in an effort to cancel/ reform discriminatory laws and practices and promote women's advancement, security, and protection in all aspects of public and private life.
Founded in 1965, it encourages a citizen movement for the protection of the rule of law and the Constitution, democratic freedoms, and peace. Their activities include lecture meetings, research, public demonstrations, the dissemination of information, and campaigns against revisions to the Constitution.
PSPF focuses on assisting urban refugees in Bangkok and contributes to the development of ASEAN civil society. Their Center for Asylum Protection (CAP) provides legal advice, representation, and protection for people making asylum applications to UNHCR Thailand. PSPF also provides ethical, sustainable, and safe livelihood opportunities for vulnerable women in Bangkok through their social initiative CHAMALiiN.
DAKSH is a civil society organization that undertakes research and activities to promote accountability and better governance in India. Daksh works towards evaluating judicial performance and in particular, to study the problem of pendency of cases in the Indian legal system.
Since 1992 it has worked to strengthen the practice of midwifery in Ethiopia. It contributes to the expansion of the midwifery profession through the development of evidence based practices and empowering professionals to reduce maternal, newborn and child morbidity and mortality, and to improve sexual and reproductive health.
