Assistance Association for Political Prisoners Burma - AAPP

It is a political prisoner advocacy organization that was formed by former Burmese political prisoners in exile. AAPP provides human rights documentation and transitional justice training for former political prisoners, members of political parties, and civil society organizations.

Myanmar Institute for Peace and Security (MIPS)

It is an independent research-based policy “think-and-do-tank” that supports the peace process and security transition and works closely with different stakeholders. MIPS has developed the Township-based Conflict Monitoring System, which has collected data since 2012.
