Based on the fundamental principles of open government it promotes collaborations between different social actors to promote innovation in public decision making.

GHRC is a non-profit organization based in the United States and Guatemala and is dedicated to promoting human rights in Guatemala and supporting communities and activists who face threats and violence. It documents and denounces abuses, educates the international community, and advocates for policies that foster peace and justice.

It is a citizen's group that combats corruption and impunity. They seek to modify permissive attitudes associated with corruption and to encourage citizen participation in the creation of a culture of respect for transparency and the rule of law. Their initiatives include the Anti-corruption Pact and Business Against Corruption.

FGER promotes integral human development, interculturality, and citizen participation for the consolidation of democracy through innovative radio programs. It works in partnership with different actors from civil society to address issues such as the prevention of human trafficking, migration, women's rights, and rural development, to name a few.
