2019 World Justice Challenge Applicant - Project Title: Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Social Reintegration to the Women and Parental Incarcerated Children in Nepal
Prisoners Assistance Nepal is a grass roots organization whose mission is to rid prisons of unnecessary suffering and hardship, in particular the suffering experienced by innocent children and prisoners who are poor and disadvantaged.

It is a community-based prisoner harm reduction organization that provides legal and economic support, education programs, and advocates for prisoners and ex-prisoners' rights in Canada. They also provide a unique forum for prisoners to share their experiences through their newsletter Cell Count.

It works to contribute to the development of the administration of the criminal justice system in Nigeria. Their programs aim to educate prison authorities on prisoners’ rights, create liaison with the government and other authorities, and to ensure proper accountability and improvement in the welfare of prisoners conditions.
