Conference on Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law

The American Bar Association Health Law Section will organize a conference on the most emergent topics facing the healthcare bar from 20th-24th February, 2013. This year's conference will also offer pre-conference sessions, a Breast Cancer Legal Advocacy workshop, fundamentals of healthcare law for those who are new to the area or need a review of healthcare law, and a conflict resolution workshop geared toward healthcare providers. The First Global Meeting of Indigenous Peoples Forum

The first global meeting of the Indigenous Peoples' Forum at IFAD will be held on 11-12 February 2013, in Rome in conjunction with IFAD Governing Council. The Indigenous Peoples' Forum at IFAD was established in February 2011 during a workshop in Rome where 28 representatives of indigenous people's organizations gathered from all continents. WARSAW, Poland – June 12, 2025 – Former South African Chief Justice Raymond Zondo was awarded the prestigious World Justice Project (WJP) Rule of Law Award in recognition of his unwavering commitment to justice and his courageous efforts in exposing systemic corruption. The award was presented by WJP Board Vice President Judy Perry Martinez at the 2025 World Justice Forum, a global gathering of rule of law champions.
