Santiago Pardo is a data analyst who joined the World Justice Project in April 2022. Before coming to WJP, he worked as a Data Analyst in the Colombian Truth Commission; in particular, he contributed to the Chapter on Human Rights for the final report. He led a team in charge of cleaning, merging, and analyzing the data related to human rights violations and infringements of the International Humanitarian Law in the war context. He is passionate about how communicating statistical results clearly to the public.
Santiago is an M.A candidate in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, where he also received a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science. His research focuses on evaluating the impact of public policies on marginalized populations, human rights violations, and sustainable development topics more broadly.
