Human Rights, security and criminal justice legislative specialist. Studied Law in Escuela Libre de Derecho. Currently provides specialized consulting services to Mexican governmental entities, as well as to civil society organizations, such as World Justice Project regarding the particular project “Alliance for the transformation of the Municipal Police of Oaxaca through the implementations of the National Police Model”. Former senior legal advisor for the Program Rule of Law in México of the German government entity of international cooperation for sustainable development, in charge of the execution of the project related to the facilitation of the collective exercise to create de Extraordinary Mechanism of Forensic Identification and the project related to the implementation of the National Police Model in two Municipalities of the State of Veracruz. She also was part of the Legislative Liaison Unit of the Secretary of State (SEGOB) from December 2018, until 2019, in charge of the technical assessment and political lobbying of several constitutional and law initiatives promoted by the recently elected federal government, all approved by the National Congress (Senate and House of Representatives).

Previously, she was part of the legislative team of the Program Projusticia of USAID where she provided technical assessment to Estate Defender’s Offices and to Estate Attorney General Offices (AGOs) to modernize their organic legislation and adapt it to the Accusatory Criminal Justice Systems, as well as the transformation of the AGOs into autonomous governmental entities. As part of Projusticia’s legislative team, she also took upon the task of the technical secretariat for the Technical Group of the civil society collective #FiscalíaQueSirva, in charge of the drafting of the project of Organic Law for the Federal Attorney General Office, approved by the National Congress in 2019. Formerly she was the coordinator of the Legal Firm Perez Johnston Abogados division of Human Right consultancy, where she developed a methodology to carry out Indigenous Consultations and Social Impact Evaluations related to electric and oil infrastructure projects, within the framework of the energetic reform of 2014.
