Allison joined WJP as a Program Associate for the Rule of Law Index in November 2023. She supports data collection and report writing efforts for the Index, in addition to providing similar support for the European Union General Population Poll. Prior to WJP, she worked for a small human rights advocacy organization focused on Ethiopia, in addition to interning with the International Rescue Committee, the American Immigration Council, and the UNDP Human Development Report Office. Allison has a Master of Science in International Development from the University of Edinburgh, where she completed her master’s dissertation on the relationship between imperialism and migration with a special focus on migration from Latin America & the Caribbean to the United States. Outside of work, Allison enjoys cooking and baking, crochet, knitting, reading fantasy novels, and playing piano. She speaks French and is currently learning Arabic (Levantine and MSA).
