James Sykes is a Research & Operations Graduate Intern at the World Justice Project.
A proud St. Louisan, James has extensive public service experience within the education, non-profit and government space. Most recently, James served as a Strategic Operations Manager at the St. Louis Treasurer’s Office for two years. His time in government confirmed his commitment to public service and budding interest in the law.
James is a current Master’s in Public Affairs student at Princeton School of International and Public Affairs, where he is focusing on Domestic Politics with specific coursework and academic interests in the Rule of Law. James holds a Master’s in Education at the University of Missouri – St. Louis as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Saint Louis University.
James is excited to spend the summer applying his quantitative skills and rule of law knowledge from his master’s coursework at the World Justice Project. Additionally, as part of his summer learning experience, James is learning to speak Amharic.
