On 9 July 2013, Founder and CEO of the World Justice Project, William H. Neukom, welcomed nearly 600 leaders, dignitaries, and innovators from more than 120 countries to address critical rule of law issues related to economic development, technology, supply chains, women’s rights, freedom of expression, and more. Mr. Neukom provided an overview of the rule of law, drawing upon traditions and philosophies from Hammurabi to Han Dynasty China, as well as an introduction to the World Justice Project's mission, goals, and methodology.
