Ms. Tara Dermott is the Head of Development at MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking), an award-winning international multimedia campaign that aims to prevent human trafficking and exploitation by educating, engaging and empowering young people to drive social action throughout Asia and beyond.
Dermott joined MTV EXIT in 2010 following work in the international development sector primarily in Southeast Asia for five years. During this time, she worked with a variety of non-government organizations in the counter-Trafficking-in-Persons community including South East Asia Investigations into Social and Humanitarian Activities (SISHA); the International Organization of Migration; The Asia Foundation; Polaris Project and World Education.
