She was nominated by the AFC to stand for election to the FIFA Executive Committee this previous May as the women’s football representative, where she aims to continue her commitment and contribution to football and the women’s game. She won the position during the election, and plans to focus on breaking down the barriers to participation, building up the elite game and enabling women to contribute at all levels to the beautiful game.
