Mr. Matthew Bugher is the Myanmar Project Manager for Justice Base, a UK-based rule of law NGO. Matthew resides in Yangon, Myanmar, where he has established a Justice Base office. He is an American lawyer admitted to the New York State Bar and specializing in human rights documentation and advocacy.
He has worked on human rights issues relating to Myanmar since 2010, contributing to projects by Aegis Trust, the Harvard Law School International Human Rights Clinic and Amnesty International. Matthew’s pre-law school work included NGO accounting and financial administration.
