It is a developmental or structural legal aid group; not only does it provide legal aid but even challenges the law. It asks for law reform where the law is found to be unfair or discriminatory. It asks for legislation in areas where there is a lack of laws dealing with the subject.

This organisation has been instrumental in the development of justice for women and access to legal protection for women; for the past thirty years, they worked with various international organisations established for the promotion of human rights, as well as the Ministry of Justice of Sri Lanka.

It provides legal assistance to LGBT and other sexual minorities and strives to eliminate sexual or gender based discrimination. It contributes to the realization of a fair society that respects individual dignity and diversity.

LANCAU NEPAL is a law based social engineering organization, dedicated to uproot the untouchability system from Nepal. Some of the activities it focuses on are formation of a global pressure group of lawyers to curb untouchability, and providing national and global level pro-bono legal support.

LEADERS Nepal's mission is to promote the cause of environment and legal awareness, conduct action and researches program and plead the cases related to environment protection, human right and social justice issues at policy and grass root level.

Founded in 1997, it is a lawyer's group (affiliated with FIDA), that works for the protection of women and children's rights. It advocates for the reform of discriminatory laws to ensure that women's rights are enforced. It provides free advice and representation for victims of domestic violence, and offers training and sensitization for stakeholders, and the public.

LAW provides technical support to several criminal justice institutions, including the Attorney General's Department, the Judicial Services Commission, and other branches that require assistance. LAW Sri Lanka's aim is to raise the importance of transitional justice among local law students, providing opportunities to engage in the peace process as it moves forward.

LACC is dedicated to uplift the legal, social, economic and cultural status of women and children, uphold their dignity and eliminate all forms of discrimination and violence. Provision of free legal aid is LACC's core service and an example of micro-level activism.

The Legal Aid Society's efforts are geared towards bridging the gap to provide pro bono/low bono legal aid service to enhance access to justice to underserved, marginalized and disempowered segments of the society, specifically women, religious minorities and juveniles.

Founded in 1995, it promotes, reinforces and safeguards human rights and good governance in Tanzania. Creating legal and human rights awareness, particularly in the underprivileged section of society through legal and civic education, advocacy linked legal aid provision, research, and human rights monitoring.

Provides free legal assistance to nationals, migrants and refugees and support for migrants regarding their labour rights.

NGO working to promote due process, and the rights of women, indigenous and LGBTI people deprived of their liberty in detention centers. They provide legal support to these populations, and are instigators of the judiciary reform in Mexico.
