Join us for the Mexican States Rule of Law Index 2018 launch

On October 9, 2018, at 10 a.m. local time (Central Daylight Time) in Mexico City, the World Justice Project will present a new index focusing on the rule of law in Mexico, to be followed by a panel discussion with experts. Stream the launch online on our website, via Facebook Live, or on our YouTube page.

The Mexican States Rule of Law Index 2018 is the first state-level study by the WJP. Using the same methodological framework as WJP's global Rule of Law Index, the new report measures the adherence to the rule of law in all 32 states of Mexico. The study reflects the perspectives and opinions of more than 25,000 citizens and 1,500 experts from across the country, providing original data and indicators organized around eight factors: Constraints on Government Powers, Absence of Corruption, Open Government, Fundamental Rights, Order and Security, Regulatory Enforcement, Civil Justice and Criminal Justice.
