Senior Program Associate, Engagement

Shallum David joined the World Justice Project as Senior Program Associate for the Engagement team and works on WJP’s strategic convenings, events and other engagement efforts. Prior to joining WJP, Shallum was leading research on global energy and geopolitics at the International Tax and Investment Center. His experience also includes work with the Legal Aid Society in Pakistan, where he led policy research and advocacy on operationalizing Gender-Based Violence Courts and conducted a mixed-methods study on improving the investigation and prosecution of sexual and gender-based violence cases. With published op-eds in Forbes and The Nation (Pakistan), Shallum writes on geopolitics, social development, and human security in the Global South. Shallum holds an MA in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
