Data Analyst

Angel Ramírez is a Data Analyst at the World Justice Project, where he contributes to the construction of the Rule of Law Index and support research projects on judicial independence and institutional trust. His work combines data analysis, survey-based evidence, and applied research to better understand how institutions shape people’s experiences with the rule of law. 

Previously, he worked as a consultant in the Office of the Chief Economist for the Middle East and North Africa at the World Bank, and as a researcher at Universidad de Los Andes. His research experience has focused on natural disasters, social norms, and environmental issues, with an emphasis on empirical methods and policy-relevant analysis. 

He is an economist with a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes. His interests include impact evaluation, statistical learning, political economy, political institutions around the world, and public trust in those institutions.
