Since 2006, Bénédicte is the Group Legal Director for the press group Figaro Group in charge of legal, compliance and public affairs. She is vice-president of the Supervisory Board of the company Société du Figaro, editing company of the group.
Since 2006, she is a member of the French Committee on Professional Journalists' ID Cards. This independent association operates as a joint committee and issues approximately 35,000 press cards each year. She chairs this joint committee since 2014, alternating annually with a union chairperson.
From 1991 to 2005, she was a barrister at the Paris bar, working in the Paris office of Slaughter and May practicing mainly M&A and Employment law.
She is a member of the Cercle Montesquieu, association comprising over 600 general counsels in France, after having been vice-president of that association for 6 years and member of the board for 11 years.
Since 2024, she is President of the Ethics Committee for the radio Europe 1 and has been a member of that committee for 8 years.
Bénédicte graduated from Université of Paris-Panthéon-Assas and holds the Magistère de Juristes d’Affaires and the DJCE.
Bénédicte has Belgian nationality, was born in Breda, Netherlands and grew up in the Netherlands, France and the USA. She is married with two children and resides in Paris.
