Wim Jansen is a political economist, who for three and half years has been the director for international affairs at the city of The Hague. Before that he worked at the Ministries of Economic Affairs and Finance of the Netherlands on issues related to international entrepreneurship, including transition of Central- and Eastern Europe, trade policy, competition policy, regulatory reform, and export credit insurance. At the city of The Hague, he is responsible for acquisition and relation management with International Organizations and NGOs, that together with businesses and knowledge institutions belong to the ecosystem of peace and justice in The Hague. His directorate also works on horizontal issues, such as international networks, European policies, SDGs and resilience. Apart from that Wim likes to support musicians as a member of their boards and go to their concerts.
