Veerachnadaran Kugathasan is a part-time volunteer Mediator & the Vice Chairman of the Community Mediation Board in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. He has more than 9 years of experience as Mediator of individual disputes helping disputants through interest-based mediation approaches to come to win-win solutions of their disputes. Veerachandran has more than 17 years of experience of working full time as a District Child Rights Promotion Officer with the Department of Probation and Child Care Services in Sri Lanka and he is a master trainer in early childhood development and child protection. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) as well as, amongst others, a higher National Diploma in Information Technology.


Veerachnadaran Kugathasan will participate in the World Justice Forum working session Pathways to Justice: Effective Tools for Localized Community Solutions
