Syrine Boukadida, (She/her) a queer feminist activist and co-founder of Mawjoudin (We exist) in Tunisia. She is based between Tunis and Berlin. She studied clinical psychology and intercultural psychology. Since 2017, Syrine has worked as a psycho-social counselor at the Lesbenberatung Berlin/ LesMigraS. In 2019 Syrine started managing the LGBTIQ+ Asylum project of Mawjoudin. Syrine is a workshop facilitator and trainer in topics like sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC), racism, multiple discriminations,iIntersectionality, black, indigenous, and People of Color (BIPoC) empowerment, and more. Besides her work, she is also part of different transnational activist groups and initiatives supporting refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers.
