Shikha Shrestha has professional experiences centered on gender equality and social inclusion promotion, strengthening social accountability and good governance. She is currently working at Voluntary Services Overseas in Nepal as Head of Programmes for Inclusive Governance. She has been engaged in the development sector since 1998 and has been based in different parts of Nepal and coordinated regional initiatives of promoting knowledge management with strategic use of Information and Communication Technology. She has been actively engaged in supporting citizen driven data based on social accountability and systematizing efforts of social norms transformation for promoting gender equality. Her strong background in advocacy and leadership has helped the Leave No One Behind consortium in Nepal to grow and become a leading initiative in Nepal in the area of SDG monitoring using Citizen Led Data (CGD).
