Nadeeka Niroshini is a Mediation Training Officer in Kandy, Sri Lanka where she supports 20 Community Mediation Boards and one Land Special Mediation Board staffed by more than 600 volunteer Community Mediators. Nadeeka conducts training programs for volunteer mediators and supervise their work. She also conducts awareness programs for Law students on interest-based mediation where she serves as external lecturer at the Open University in Sociology and Gender subjects. She is a graduate of the University of Peradeniya and holds a first-class Honours degree in Sociology as well as a Diploma in Human Rights and Counseling from the University of Peradeniya.
