Dr. Maman Aminou Amadou Koundy is a Nigerien magistrate. He is currently President of the High Court of Niamey and of the specialized judicial unit in the fight against terrorism and transnational organized crime in Niger. He is the author of numerous publications on the themes of the fight against terrorism in the Sahel and judicial governance. Dr Koundy is a trainer at the Niger Judicial Training School and a teacher at the Faculty of Law of Abdou Moumouni University in Niamey. He is a consultant to several United Nations agencies and other national and international stakeholders on legal, judicial and peace and security issues.
