Roy has been involved with the Surjodoy Child Forum for the past three years. He also volunteers with Youth for Change Bangladesh, YouthNet, and Bangladesh Science Congress Association. These NGOs focus on children rights issues and their primary activities help underserved children. Roy has taken action in working to reduce child marriage, helping stop 14 child marriages with the assistance of local police and councilors. Roy has stopped children from going to work in factories or doing domestic work and has helped them to go to school instead. The Forum also donates food and clothes to underserved children. Last year, it helped 112 children create their birth certificates. The Forum also collaborates with local police, councilors, and the Minister for children’s rights to achieve its objectives.
