Joseph is currently the lead commercial and product counsel for HPE’s 11+ billion dollar Compute Global Business Group, with primary responsibility for all legal matters, including serving as first point of contact and strategic advisor to senior executives, negotiating complex cross-border transactions, resolving quality, product and customer disputes and escalations, and ensuring compliance, operational success, strategic alignment and integration of legal with other major organizational functions. Prior to HPE, Joseph was in private practice for almost a decade with two full service law firms, Winstead PC and Jackson Walker LLP, where he represented various clients in connection with structuring and negotiating intellectual property, commercial, mergers and acquisitions and private equity and venture capital transactions. Joseph holds a BSc. in Biochemistry from Columbia Union College, an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship from the William and Mary Mason School of Business and a J.D. from the William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law. Joseph has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers – Rising Star.
