Ewout Irrgang has been a member of the Netherlands Court of Audit’s Board since September 1st, 2017. He had previously worked for the PharmAccess Foundation and was a member of the House of Representatives for the Dutch Socialist Party. Ewout studied economics and political science at the University of Amsterdam. In 1998, he began his career as a policy officer for the Dutch Socialist Party (1998-2005). In 2005, he joined the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) as an economist and was elected to the House of Representatives (until 2012) for the Dutch Socialist Party in the same year. He started working for the PharmAccess Foundation shortly after becoming a member of parliament, first as Technical Director in Dar es Salaam and since January 1st, 2017, as Advisory Services Director in Amsterdam. Ewout Irrgang is the author of many financial and economic publications.
