Doreen Buettner is a human rights and gender justice specialist with over 14 years’ experience advancing women’s access to justice in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Doreen currently manages UN Women’s Asia-Pacific regional program on Women’s Access to Justice, in partnership with the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (OHCHR) and International Commission of Jurists (ICJ). Doreen is leading the UN Women's regional office in developing a strategy for women’s access to justice in Asia and the Pacific. Doreen is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
