Bianca graduated with honours from Law School at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her main line of work has been focused on human rights, access to justice and the anti-corruption agenda. Bianca has worked as a research assistant for an Inter-American Court of Human Rights judge; as part of the advisor team of the National Ombudsperson where she was the youngest member of the team; and more recently as a policy analyst at Impunidad Cero, a civil society organization based in Mexico. She is also a co-author of the “Anti-corruption Legal Guide” published by Impunidad Cero and Action4Justice, a UK-based organisation which promotes legal action for social justice worldwide. Bianca’s project is to bring together actors from civil society and law enforcement authorities, with the aid of international cooperation, to generate methodologies for local prosecutor offices to guarantee access to justice to vulnerable communities and to efficiently prosecute high impact crimes, such as corruption. Bianca is a Chevening Scholar reading a Master of Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, where she also serves as a research assistant for the Chandler Sessions on Integrity and Corruption.
