Achref Medini graduated from the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of Tunis with a Master’s degree in Common Law. He started his career in human rights advocacy after coordinating a project with Avocats Sans Frontières on the protection of the rights of pre-charged detainees. He also graduated from the College of Europe with a Master’s programme in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies in Bruges, Belgium, with a specialization in the protection and promotion of democracy and human rights in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and particularly Tunisia.
