Enid Muthoni Ndiga is a well-known gender and women’s rights advocate in Kenya and in the East African region. Currently, she is the IDLO Regional Program Manager (RPM) for Africa. Prior to assuming this role, she worked as the IDLO Country Director for Kenya, a position she held from 2011. Enid has over 18 years’ experience in both rule of law and gender and development work, having held senior technical and managerial positions with national, regional, international and inter-governmental organizations including the United Nations Kenya and Somalia offices, Norwegian Church Aid Eastern Africa, the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights and the Federation of Women Lawyers. Born in Kenya, she holds a Master of Arts in Gender and Development from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor in Law and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law.
