Ena Dion, is a Senior Program Officer at the U.S. Institute of Peace. She leads the Justice and Security Dialogue (JSD) Project in the Sahel and Maghreb. The project improves the rule of law and security in Senegal, Mali Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria and Tunisia by strengthening collaboration between security services and communities. Previously, she managed the rule of law forum, and Afghanistan programming for the International Network to Promote the Rule of Law (INPROL), provided constitution-making support for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq and the Republic of Fiji's Constitutional Commission, and worked on access to justice with International Bridges to Justice in Cambodia. She holds a J.D. from William and Mary School of Law and a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from McGill University.


Ena Dion will participate in the World Justice Forum working sessions Systems Change and the Rule of Law Journey in African Courts and Opportunities and Challenges in Documentary Film-making for Change.
