Ashok Regmi has more than 20+ years of experience in international development, social entrepreneurship and innovation, and strategic analysis/planning. At the International Youth Foundation, he provides institutional leadership in Youth Agency, Social Innovation and Citizenship portfolio, through programs in Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia. He also serves on the Senior Management Team. In this capacity, he has built global partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, universities, local businesses, nonprofits, and public sectors in more than 25 countries in advancing youth development sector. Ashok has worked in both the private and public sectors, including the Government of Nepal Ministry of Information and Education Board at Connecticut among others. Ashok also worked with members of the Nepalese Parliament in addressing youth issues of Nepal and was one of the founders of the first FM radio channel in Nepal, where he directed programs on economic and social issues. Ashok sits on various boards including a consortium of more than 200 institutions focusing on leadership development. Ashok graduated from Johns Hopkins University with Masters in Public Policy and has been featured and profiled in global publications including the Financial Times. He has been a frequent speaker in global platforms including the United Nations, World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank. Ashok was also profiled in the book “Compassionate Careers” in 2015 alongside other global leaders. Ashok is a native from Nepal.
