Olena Vaidalovych is a human rights lawyer. She represents Romani community from Ukraine, defending the rights of vulnerable groups. She was a Fellow of the OHCHR Minority Fellowship Programme in 2018. Additionally, her carrier path has been enriched by joining the Contact Point for Roma and Sinti Issues and approaching the needs of Roma people from 57 Participating States to OSCE/ODIHR. Later, Olena joined the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, providing her expertise on minority issues and human rights. Besides, she has a background in the NGO sector and public administration. Currently, Olena represents Towards Dialogue Foundation, helping Ukrainian Romani refugees find safety in Poland, as well as being integrated into society.
