Adebimpe Obienu is a Civil Rights Advocate and a Director in the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Abeokuta Ogun State in Nigeria. She holds Bachelors degree in Law. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators. She Is a former Administrator - General & Public Trustee of Ogun State, Nigeria. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration at the University of the People California, U.S.A Adebimpe is passionate about protecting the rights of women and children and helping women build sustainable businesses with a view to alleviating poverty. She was involved in personnel training for the Sexual Assault Referral Centre(SARC- a one stop shop for victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. She worked as part of the team that developed toolkits for implementation of the World Bank-supported Framework for Responsible and Inclusive Land-Intensive Agricultural Investments (FRILIA) principles. She also participated in the Transformation Dialogue for People Centred Justice organized by Hiil. She was recently posted to the Commercial Services Department as the Director, where opportunities are already presenting themselves to advocate for people centered justice approaches in government activities.
