Makhabat Tazhibek Kyzy was born on May 13, 1991 in Issyk-Kul to a family of poets, judges, and politicians. Since childhood, she has participated in numerous competitions for manaschi and dastanchi - two traditional forms of storytelling and poetry - and is a Multiple Grand Prix winner. In 1999, she began studying law at the Kyrgyz National University, where she was the chairman of the youth committee. She eventually left school in her third year because she did not like Soviet teaching methods. From 2008 to 2014, she worked as a journalist. In 2018, she led a project with Kaktus media called “Do you know?” - a unique project for young people that gives answers to anonymous questions on a variety of topics, including law, religion, psychology, reproductive health, sexuality, business, and financial literacy. From 2018 to 2020, she worked at the publications Factcheck.kg and Politmer.kg until she started to get involved in management as a product manager and marketer with Ediviso. In 2021, she joined the New Media organization as an operating officer and later that year, she founded the Ait Ait Dese project. Today, Temirov Live and Ait Ait Dese work in tandem to fight against corruption in Kyrgyzstan.
