Justice Hatari Peter George Waweru studied Law at the University of Nairobi and graduated in 1976. He then proceeded to the Kenya School of Law for post –graduate studies. He was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in the Kenyan Bar in 1977. Justice Waweru then privately practiced Law in Kenya for about 21 years, specializing in civil and criminal litigation. He was appointed a judge of the High Court of Kenya in July 1998. His Lordship has enjoyed serving in that Court of unlimited original civil and criminal jurisdiction to date, serving in many High Court Stations in Kenya and heading various divisions of the Court including Commercial and Civil divisions.
