Diana works with Documenta, a Mexican human rights organization established in 2010. She coordinates the Disability and Justice Program which advocates for and promotes equality before the law and fair access to justice for persons with disabilities. Since 2017, Documenta launched, a program to assist criminal courts in implementing procedural accommodations in cases where individuals with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities are involved as victims, defendants, or witnesses. Until 2022, the team of justice facilitators has participated in more than 3,000 criminal hearings. As part of our efforts, Documenta was also the organization who provide legal assistance in the first Mexican case before the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
