Mr. Bardhyl Hasapapaj is an attorney at law, who has taught European Private Law and European Union Law at the University of Prishtina’s Faculty of Law for 11 years. He is a graduated lawyer from the University of Prishtina and holds an LLM degree from the University of Bremen in Germany. Additionally, he is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Florence in Italy. Mr. Hasanpapaj has over 16 years of experience working in the areas of Justice and Home Affairs, rule of law, and judicial reform.
Through different initiatives and with his extensive experience in legislative drafting and legal approximation, he has directly contributed to the drafting of several legal acts of the Republic of Kosovo. In light of this, he has co-authored several publications, including manuals and practitioners’ guides on implementing or drafting legal acts. Mr. Hasanpapaj has also provided his legal expertise, led or co-led several other EU, USAID and GIZ projects implemented in the Western Balkans. In line with this, he is the Deputy Team Leader and the Senior Legal Expert for the EU-funded project “National Centralised Criminal Records System"" which is now a finalist of the World Justice Challenge 2022.
