Adrián Vázquez Lázara studied Law at the Complutense University of Madrid and graduated in International Relations at Lindenwood University (Missouri, United States). He received his Master's degree in the same discipline at the University of Warwick (United Kingdom). Before being elected Member of the European Parliament, he worked in different organizations such as the OSCE, NATO and the Korean Trade Agency. He was also an advisor to the former Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Palacio. He has been Member of the European Parliament since February 2020. He chairs the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) of the European Parliament. He is member of the Conference of Committee Chairs (CPCO) and of the Delegation for relations with the People’s Republic of China (D-CN). He is a substitute member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI) and of the Delegation for relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo (DSEE).
