Solly Molayi is a Statistician and Director in the Social Statistics Chief Directorate at Statistics South Africa. He is responsible for the conceptualisation and management of the production of governance statistics and other social statistics. His responsibilities extend to the development of survey instruments and methodologies and he has been working closely with the team that has been re-engineering the Victim of Crime Survey into the Governance, Public Safety and Justice Survey (GPSJS). Before joining Statistics South Africa, he worked as a senior researcher in various government departments and public entities.


Solly Molayi will participate in the World Justice Project working session Measuring Civil Justice to Improve Outcomes: Evolving Global and National Strategies.
