Joanne Harding has been involved with SCAT for twenty years and has held the position of Director for eight of those. She is passionate about access to justice having started her career as a paralegal in an advice office. Joanne has a BA in Social Work, a Masters in Social Development specialising in Social Planning and Administration. The title of her thesis was Financial Sustainability for Non Profits in South Africa. She is currently doing her PhD at the University of Cape Town in Public Law. Joanne’s skills are in NGO management and leadership and in resource mobilisation for non-profits.
