Matt Harman leads communications for the World Justice Project, where he works to increase awareness and appreciation for the rule of law worldwide. Prior to WJP, Matt served as the Communications Director for the Initiative for Global Development, a nonprofit focused on encouraging entrepreneurship and investment in Africa. He has also led creative marketing for the international microfinance accelerator Unitus, served as Director of Outreach for Teach for America-Bay Area, directed marketing and creative production for a tech startup, and developed campaigns for multiple public sector and cause-related clients as a senior associate at Reingold in Washington, D.C.
Matt holds an MA from the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University, where he was a teaching fellow, and a BA from the Honors English program at Indiana University.
