Lauren Meyer is Head of Legal at TrustLaw, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global legal pro bono service. Lauren leads a team of lawyers that works with TrustLaw’s NGO and social enterprise members to identify their legal needs and finds pro bono lawyers to assist. Lauren oversees TrustLaw’s relationships with law firms and in-house teams worldwide. She identifies strategic opportunities and oversees the development and publication of legal research and guides for the social sector. Lauren previously worked in private practice at Webber Wentzel in South Africa and in-house at a financial services firm in London. Lauren is a solicitor and a South African qualified attorney. She has a BSocSci and LLB from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, and the BCL from the University of Oxford.
