Linette du Toit Lubuulwa is a Programme Officer and Researcher at the Uganda Association of Women Lawyers (FIDA Uganda). FIDA Uganda works to advance gender equality and the empowerment of women through the promotion of women’s rights and by increasing access to justice through the provision of legal services. Linette is a graduate of the University of Pretoria's Center for Human Rights LLM in Human Rights and Democratization in Africa as the class of 2013. Prior to joining civil society, Linette was a legal researcher at the Constitutional Court of South Africa and at the Supreme Court of Kenya. Her research interests include gender justice, minority rights, children's rights, disability inclusion, socio-economic rights and constitutional law.
